Divine Reflections: Sovereign Visions brings together the work of Two Spirit and Indigiqueer artists Demian DinéYazhi’, Kira Xonorika, and Yoli. Curated by Edgar Fabián Frías, the exhibition functions as both portal and mirror—offering viewers intimate access to the artists’ cosmologies while reflecting the vastness of Indigenous queer and trans creative expression. Through virtual and immersive presentation, the project highlights how Two Spirit and Indigiqueer artists articulate sovereignty not only as a political condition, but as a spiritual and embodied state of being. Each work stands as an act of reclamation and a gesture toward expansive, liberated futures shaped by Indigenous knowledge systems.
The project was made possible through the generous support of BAAITS (Bay Area American Indian Two-Spirits), whose commitment to Indigenous queer and trans visibility helped create a space where these visions could be celebrated, witnessed, and shared.
